Why are you taking a firearms class?

Why are you taking a firearms class?

Hopefully your answer is "To save my life".

Some classes only teach you how to fill out an application and then you shoot one round, from a firearm the instructor loads, into a bullet trap in the classroom. This training does nothing to teach you a skill that can save your life.

Our Basic Firearms class consists of classroom and range training. You will learn all the fundamentals of shooting including how to load and unload several different handguns. You will also learn proper grip, stance, and common errors encountered in shooting. This is not something that you can learn by someone loading and holding the firearm for you while you pull the trigger. Then you will qualify at the range using what was learned in the classroom.

We provide everything you need to complete both the classroom and range portion of the training, including the firearm, range fees and eye and ear protection.
